CURRENT FISHING REPORT FOR: MAY 16, 2012

Hello To Everyone, We are still catching good numbers of Red Fish and now Trout are beginning to show also in good numbers. The Reds are acting strange, but normal at the same time. Let me explain. The "spotted tails" are picking the bait up and running with it for 20 feet plus. When you go to set the hook they are gone time and time again. In other words they are not getting hooked. I have instructed the clients for them to have the best chance to catch these fish is to simply let the fish run a little longer especially if you are in grass and not oysters...nothing to cut the line.
